YOUR NEW FAVORITE BAND. Good news! Otherness was KEXP's "your new favorite band" for March 28th [best birthday gift ever! -Gary]. For those of you who don't know, KEXP is the best radio station in the world...they can be heard at 90.3 in Seattle, or online at http://www.kexp.org. Special thanks to John Richards (6-10 a.m. PST every weekday morning...listen and be amazed!) for broadcasting Otherness to the masses! They played two new songs, Innocence (Your Absent Face) and Suddenly Blue. To hear the songs as well as what the DJ's had to say about us (including frequently referring to us as THE Otherness), follow these instructions:

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Otherness is alive and well in Seattle, WA. Recording for TERRA TRANSMISSIONS is pretty much complete. The album is now being mixed, and we are aiming for a September 2005 release date. Look for Otherness to start playing some live shows in Seattle around the summertime.

Mixing sessions for the new album are underway. T. E. R. R. A. - T. R. A. N. S. M. I. S. S. I. O. N. is slated for a fall/winter release. The details of the track listing are still undetermined as there are 20 new songs. The band is still tossing around ideas of doing two releases, One simply titled ORGANIC and the other INORGANIC. They may be packaged together as an T. T. special release or as two separate releases. Either way, the band does plan on releasing the first single in early fall, followed by the album in winter.

The new web site is currently under construction, though check back periodically as there will be several new features including live versions of several of the bands songs as well as exclusive internet only remixes.

The band will also be doing some fall/winter shows to promote the new record. Dates and venues will soon be posted.
